Mehmet Seyfettin EROL, President of the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies “ANKASAM”, shared his views on the ongoing and upcoming reforms in Kazakhstan with MIA “Kazinform” correspondent. Emphasizing that there are many common perspectives in terms of risks and opportunities when looking at Turkey-Kazakhstan relations from a geopolitical perspective, Erol said, “Turkey and Kazakhstan are not strangers to each other. We have a common history, culture and values. We understand each other fundamentally. I can say that Turkey sees Kazakhstan as its ancestral homeland and Kazakhstan sees Turkey as its westernmost country.”
