Finnish President Alexander Stubb plans to sign a military support agreement with Ukraine.
Report cites the Finnish daily Iltalehti as the source of this news.
According to the newspaper, the signing of the agreement is expected to take place during the Finnish leader’s visit to Ukraine, the date of which has not been announced.
Among other things, the agreement stipulates that Finland will supply arms to Ukraine “for many years to come”, equip the Ukrainian navy and support Kiev’s NATO membership, but it does not specify when this will happen.
