European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso will visit Uzbekistan on June 10-11 for official meetings. During the visit, a series of meetings with high-level government officials and foreign investors are planned.
According to a statement from the EBRD, Renaud-Basso will meet with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during her visit, as well as hold bilateral meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and EBRD Governor Jamshid Hocayev and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov. Renaud-Basso will co-chair the third general session of the Foreign Investors Council, which will be held during the visit, and will deliver a speech at the Tashkent International Investment Forum. Additionally, various investment projects aimed at developing sustainable infrastructure and supporting the pharmaceutical sector in Uzbekistan are expected to be signed during the visit.
