Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the UAE Minister of Investment and Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company, Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, the meeting focused on opportunities to boost mutual investments between the two countries. During the discussions, both sides emphasized the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE, highlighting the importance of expanding trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was given to the UAE’s investments in Azerbaijan’s renewable energy sector. It was noted that Azerbaijan offers attractive opportunities for investors due to its favorable business environment, strategic geographical location, rich natural resources, and rapid development of the non-oil sector. The effective utilization of these opportunities was underlined as essential for promoting investment ties and enhancing partnerships between business entities of both countries. The parties also reviewed prospects for strengthening economic integration, establishing new business partnerships, and increasing reciprocal investments in the near future.
