Tajikistan and Oman Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

Tajikistan’s Foreign Minister Sirociddin Muhriddin and Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Bedr bin Hamud al-Busaidi held a telephone conversation on June 14. According to a statement by the Tajikistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conversation was productive in terms of strengthening friendly relations, regional cooperation, and international issues.

During the conversation, the parties comprehensively discussed the current state of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Oman and how these relations could be developed in the future. While emphasizing the importance of increasing cooperation in the political, economic, and cultural fields, the schedule for high-level visits and joint events to be held in the coming period was evaluated. The ministers expressed their determination to further strengthen the relations between the two countries based on mutual understanding and respect, emphasizing that the development of strategic cooperation presents great opportunities for both countries. The meeting also included an exchange of views on various regional and global issues, particularly current developments in the Middle East and Central Asia. The parties noted the importance of continuing mutual consultation and diplomatic dialogue on these issues.
