The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported that representatives of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan reached an agreement on a 28.37-kilometre section of the state border, Trend reports.
According to the information, from 24 to 29 March 2024 in the city of Batken in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, a regular meeting of topographic working groups and groups of the government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan on legal issues of delimitation and delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border was held.
At this meeting, an agreement was reached on the 28.37-kilometre section of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border.
In addition, the parties plan to continue work on the definition of the remaining sections at the next meeting, which will be held on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Following the results of the meeting, the relevant protocol was signed.
