Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM) International Relations Specialist Dr. Doğacan Başaran commented on the Wagner Group’s uprising attempt for Ulusal Kanal. In his assessment, Başaran stated that the Wagner Group’s initiative did not have a concrete initiative among the Russian people and therefore the Moscow administration will overcome the uprising attempt. In addition, Başaran stated that in the background of the incident, the fact that things did not go as planned by the Kremlin in the Russia-Ukraine War was effective.
