ANKASAM President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin Erol emphasized the strategic role of “New Uzbekistan” in regional peace and cooperation in his assessment given to the People’s Voice Newspaper. Erol stated that Uzbekistan has become a prominent actor not only in Central Asia but also on a global scale, noting that the country has the potential to become the cradle of a new civilization through the resolution of its border issues, economic openings, and diplomatic initiatives.
