The government of Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei does not intend to join BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa).

This was stated by Milei’s foreign policy adviser and future foreign minister Diana Mondino, the Report reported, citing TASS.

“Argentina will not join BRICS,” she wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

On 19 November, Argentina held a second round of presidential elections. Libertarian MP Milei, nominated by the right-wing “Freedom is Coming” coalition, defeated Economy Minister Sergio Massa.
