Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral defense consultations were held in Cyprus Wednesday.
A delegation from the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia, led by Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the MoD participated in these consultations, Armenian News-NEWS.am is informed by the MoD.
During the consultations, the process of cooperation in bilateral and trilateral formats and future tasks were discussed, views were exchanged on regional and international security issues, reforms implemented in the defense sector, and some other matters of mutual interest.
The parties highly appreciated the development of cooperation in recent years.
Following the consultations, the heads of the departments responsible for international military cooperation of three countries signed the annual programs of Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral cooperation in the defense sector.
