Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan discussed the development of bilateral military cooperation

Within the framework of the bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan for 2025, a delegation headed by Major General Fazilullah Badenov, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and Head of the National Defense Management Center, visited Azerbaijan.

The Kazakh delegation first visited the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Baku in memory of the heroes who lost their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and laid flowers on their graves, Trend Agency reported Friday, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. As part of the visit, the delegation also visited the Combat Control Center of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, as well as the Air and Naval Forces Commands. The visiting delegation was given a comprehensive briefing on the daily activities of the relevant units and crisis and emergency management. During the talks, it was emphasized that such visits play an important role in strengthening military relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The sides expressed their determination to further deepen cooperation in the field of defense.
