A delegation headed by First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Aliyar Mamedyarov is on a working visit to the United States of America.
According to a statement by the CBA to Trend news agency, the delegation will participate in various events within the framework of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings in Washington. The delegation will also hold bilateral meetings with heads of several financial and investment institutions cooperating with the CBA. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation will also participate in a regional financial conference organized by the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and titled “Strengthening Financial Partnership between Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and the United States”. The conference is expected to be an important platform for deepening economic relations between these countries, increasing financial cooperation and evaluating investment opportunities.
