Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayıl Cabbarov met with Afrim Gaşi, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia. According to a statement made by the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan to Trend, the meeting emphasized Azerbaijan’s strong commitment to strengthening economic partnership with North Macedonia.
It was noted that the trade volume between the two countries increased by more than 27% in the January–April 2025 period compared to the same period last year. It was also stated that strengthening joint efforts could contribute to further growth in mutual trade. During the meeting, information was provided about Azerbaijan’s business and investment opportunities, and North Macedonian entrepreneurs were invited to engage in active cooperation. The parties also discussed cooperation opportunities in the fields of energy, the Middle Corridor, small and medium-sized enterprises, the pharmaceutical industry, and other areas.
