Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan met with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia

A meeting was held between Turkmenistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Myakhri Byashimova and Saudi Ambassador to Turkmenistan Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri. The statement on the meeting was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the current state of bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia and prospects for their future development were discussed. The sides discussed cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade and economic spheres. They also exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of international organizations, in particular the United Nations. They also focused on strengthening the legal and contractual basis of bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to the development of partnerships in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
