Uzbekistan’s “UzEltexSanoat” Union officially hosted a delegation headed by Jeon Myung Hwa, President of the South Korean Electricity Industry Cooperative (KEIC). The statement on the meeting was made public by the Union.
During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the current activities of the organizations, future plans and joint ventures. It was emphasized that the main purpose of the meeting was to assess the investment climate and discuss new cooperation opportunities in the field of electrical engineering. Speaking during the visit, KEIC President Jeon Myung Hwa expressed great interest in the possibilities of industrial cooperation in Uzbekistan. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Union “UzEltexSanoat” and KEIC. This document aims to take cooperation between the two countries in the field of electrical engineering to a new stage.
