Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Durić held a meeting in Luxembourg on the sidelines of the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two ministers discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues. Opportunities for strengthening trade and economic relations were also discussed. It was emphasized that the direct flights between Georgia and Serbia, which will start in June, will contribute to the deepening of ties between the business communities and peoples of the two countries. Serbia’s decision to open an embassy in Tbilisi was also considered as a positive step and it was stated that this development will further improve bilateral relations.
