On April 30, Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh held official talks with Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation José Manuel Albares. The sides discussed the expansion of Mongolian-Spanish relations with an economic content and the effective implementation of development policies, Montsame news agency reported.
Foreign Minister Battsetseg introduced Mongolia’s development policies and main goals, emphasizing the broad potential for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. The two sides agreed to develop bilateral relations in the fields of investment, economy, trade, agriculture, light industry, tourism and education. In addition, the two sides confirmed that they will work to provide a favorable legal environment to enhance cooperation and agreed to finalize documents such as the Air Transport Agreement, the Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Driving Licenses and the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports as soon as possible.
