Abdulla Azizov, Director of Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company Xinjiang Tefeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., based in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
During the meeting, company representatives introduced their products, production capacities, and areas of activity, highlighting their extensive experience in manufacturing both natural and synthetic medicines, as well as their strong positions in domestic and international markets. Abdulla Azizov outlined the potential of Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector, the availability of raw materials, and favorable conditions for localizing production. He also presented the opportunities of the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster and the prospects for implementing new investment projects. The sides discussed ways to expand cooperation, including joint scientific and production activities. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to continue negotiations on the most promising areas of cooperation.
