Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with Japanese Ambassador to Georgia Hideki Ishizuka. According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, bilateral relations and current issues in the field of multilateral cooperation were discussed. They also discussed regional developments and current challenges, during which Ambassador Ishizuka reiterated Japan’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to actively work to continue the successful cooperation between Georgia and Japan.
