Foreign investors and local entrepreneurs have developed 132 projects in Uzbekistan worth more than $ 7 billion. This was reported by the press service of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Trend reports.
According to the information, 25 of these projects worth $ 2.1 billion were presented to the Uzbek leader. Mirziyoyev was informed about new investment projects to be implemented in the Fergana region.
It was noted that companies from Austria, the United States, China, Russia, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan and Azerbaijan invested in 132 projects covering textile, food, medical, electrical, construction materials, services and other sectors.
The press service emphasised that as a result of the implementation of these projects, it is planned to provide more than 23 thousand jobs.
Mirziyoyev gave additional instructions to the responsible persons to accelerate the creation of the organisational and legal framework for the projects and to ensure all necessary conditions for investors.
