Adilbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, met with Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda during his working visit to Dushanbe. During the meeting, the goal of increasing trade volume between the two countries to $500 million by 2030 was discussed, and it was stated that Kyrgyzstan is ready to support Tajik products’ access to the Eurasian Economic Union market. In the field of energy cooperation, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of swiftly implementing the CASA-1000 project. In the field of transportation, the parties prioritized the resumption of direct flights. The meeting also addressed the implementation of agreements on the demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and the promotion of shared values among young people. The leaders also reviewed preparations for the trilateral summit planned to be held in Hucand, Tajikistan, between the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The parties emphasized that maintaining mutual trust and dialogue is of critical importance for regional stability and development.
