Türkiye-India Relations Seminar Held Between ANKASAM and India Foundation

A seminar on “New Era in Türkiye-India Relations in the Changing International Conjuncture” was held between Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies (ANKASAM) and India Foundation on October 27, 2022. ANKASAM President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin Erol, Former Indian Foreign Minister M.J. At the conference where Akbar and India Foundation Director Alok Bansal were speakers, Türkiye-India relations were discussed. Erol said that India Foundation is one of the most prominent strategic research centers not only in India but also in the region and the world. In addition, Erol made the following statement: “Both countries have the potential to develop much stronger cooperation in regional and global politics.” Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Akbar, on the other hand, expressed that they think that the relations between the two countries and a positive atmosphere of solidarity will be re-established and that important steps will be taken for the future of the countries, on the occasion of their visit to Türkiye. Bansal, Director of the India Foundation, also pointed out that the commercial potential of the two countries is high and emphasized that there is an important cooperation between Türkiye and India in the field of defense.
