Ukraine and Germany have signed agreements with a total value of over 8.5 billion euros.
According to Report, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on the social media platform X.
“We had a very productive meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz… To date, we have 15 agreements and documents, and most of them concern cooperation in the fields of security, manufacturing, relevant procurement, our orders for German industry and joint projects in Ukraine. The total value of our agreements signed today amounts to over 8.5 billion euros,” he noted.
According to Zelenskyy, a special agreement was also signed, which creates more opportunities for joint efforts by Berlin and Kyiv to counter drones.
He also added that Germany has provided Ukraine with a new support package worth over 1.3 billion euros, which includes essential weaponry as well as energy assistance ahead of winter.
