Prof. Dr. Cem Karadeli, Chief Advisor of the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM), commented on the issues discussed at the NATO Leaders Summit on A Haber. Karadeli said, “After Sweden drafted an anti-terrorism draft and promised to support us in the EU, we gave the green light for Sweden to become a member of NATO. This is very important. Together with Finland, NATO had 31 members. Now it will have 32 members. NATO now has a new approach. The steps Turkey will take and Sweden’s response to this are very important.”
