ANKASAM President Prof. Mehmet Seyfettin Erol delivered a comprehensive analysis on Uzbekistan24 television regarding the Presidential Decree approving Uzbekistan’s 2026 State Program. In his assessment, Erol evaluated the decree both in terms of Uzbekistan’s domestic development priorities and within the broader framework of regional economic and strategic balances.
During the program, he examined in detail the implications of the policy objectives set forth in the decree, particularly their projected impact on economic growth, social reforms, infrastructure investments, and foreign trade strategies. Erol emphasized that the decree presents significant opportunities for Uzbekistan, especially in its efforts to:
- enhance the predictability and transparency of the investment climate,
- attract greater volumes of international capital,
- prioritize technology- and innovation-driven sectors, and
- strengthen its role in regional cooperation and economic integration processes.
He underlined that these strategic orientations not only consolidate Uzbekistan’s domestic reform trajectory but also position the country as an increasingly influential actor within the evolving geopolitical and geo-economic architecture of Central Asia.
