Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received Qatari Ambassador Mansour bin Abdulla Al Sulaitin, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia informs.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Armenia and Qatar, which is one of the priorities set out in the program of the Armenian government.
Also, Minister Hovhannisyan and Ambassador Al Sulaitin discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral economic cooperation. In this context, the importance of the agreement on the elimination of double taxation signed between the governments of the two countries was emphasized, which creates favorable conditions for the intensification of bilateral business ties.
Currently, Armenia and Qatar plan to deepen cooperation in the investment sector, as well as to ensure the exchange of knowledge and experience in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and digital transformation.
