I consider my visit to Russia a success. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a press briefing Thursday, answering a question from Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He informed that the two parties have reached specific agreements in specific directions, as well as another stage in the development of bilateral relations is observed, which are developing in a natural way.

Commenting on the most recent statements of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, Pashinyan assured that he did not see any threat in them.

“Our problem is worded in just one sentence: the Republic of Armenia is losing its potential competitive advantages under these conditions,” Pashinyan added.

He assured that not only does Armenia have no problems with Russia, but Yerevan also highly values friendly relations with Moscow and does not want to harm its interests.

“There are no threats in our words either. This is a normal working process, during which the parties present their positions,” the Armenian premier noted.
