President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has completed his working visit to the Republic of Turkey. During the visit, the Azerbaijani head of state held a series of meetings with senior officials of Turkey, including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. President Aliyev’s visit was particularly related to the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. The talks focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, expanding cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and defense industry, as well as regional and international agenda items. President Aliyev expressed his appreciation for Turkey’s continuous support in the reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories. The Turkish side reaffirmed its commitment to further deepening bilateral relations. Following the talks, the sides emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects that will contribute to regional stability and development. The visit ended with the signing of a number of agreements aimed at expanding economic and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
