Within the framework of the energy security dialogue between Azerbaijan and NATO, a meeting was held between NATO Deputy Secretary General James Appathurai and Azerbaijan Deputy Minister of Energy Orhan Zeynalov.
According to a statement made on social media by Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission to NATO, the meeting addressed Azerbaijan-NATO partnership, Azerbaijan’s contributions to the energy security of NATO allies and partners, energy projects carried out within the framework of cooperation with the European Union, and the transition to green energy. The parties exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening cooperation. The meeting is considered an important part of the ongoing strategic dialogue between Azerbaijan and NATO on energy security and sustainable development.
