On June 5, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko and heads of Russian diplomatic missions accredited in European countries.
According to a statement by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed the political, economic, commercial, and humanitarian dimensions of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, as well as cooperation in other areas. In addition, the parties assessed regional and international security issues and the current situation in the region following the conflict. Minister Bayramov emphasized the importance of mutual visits and contacts in the development of Azerbaijan-Russia relations. Russian representatives who participated in the meeting expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and asked questions about Azerbaijan’s foreign policy.
