Blinken and Sibiga discussed arms shipments and U.S. budget assistance.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga. This was stated in a statement by the State Department’s spokesman, Matthew Miller.
Blinken noted that Washington’s assistance to Kiev would continue. He pointed out that this is especially important before the onset of winter. He also mentioned military tranches.
The Secretary of State announced the U.S. goals for ensuring sustainable support for Ukraine the report said.
Blinken also reminded of the American authorities’ commitment to supporting sovereignty and democracy in Ukraine, as well as establishing peace in the conflict zone based on the principles of the UN Charter.
