The Journal of Regional Studies (JRS) started its publication life in 2017. Our journal includes publications on various fields of Social Sciences, especially in the International Relations discipline. The Journal of Regional Studies is an international refereed journal, and is included in DergiPark database; as well as indexed by international indexes such as Academic Keys, ASOS Index, CEEOL, Cite Factor, DRJI, Index Copernicus, Ideal Online, JIFACTOR, Journal Factor, Research Bible and Sindex.
The aim of the Journal of Regional Studies is to work on issues related to the current and historical background of regional, bilateral and multilateral relations of countries in geopolitical and strategic context. Therefore, the studies include interdisciplinary cooperation with fields such as history, politics, economics, sociology, law, geopolitics, strategy, security, intelligence, national defense, culture, psychology and geography. To that end, the Journal of Regional Studies aims to create a common academic platform by benefiting from different disciplines and develop an academic perspective.
Our journal, which adopts a multilingual publication policy, especially in Turkish, English, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu, Georgian and Armenian, is published twice a year (May and December). The copyright of the articles sent for publication has been transferred to our journal, and no fee is requested from the authors who send the article and the authors are not paid royalty.
For the new issue of our journal to be published in May 2021, articles, research, reviews and translation articles will be accepted by obtaining the approval of the relevant author or the place of publication. The deadline for article submission is March 30, 2021.
