President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmus. The two leaders discussed the development of bilateral relations and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that efforts should be made to further strengthen the friendly ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Japarov emphasized the importance of economic, cultural and political cooperation between the two countries and stated that new projects should be implemented, especially in the fields of trade and investment. Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Kurtulmuş confirmed Turkey’s support for Kyrgyzstan and stated that increasing the dialogue between the parliaments would make a significant contribution to bilateral relations. International and regional issues were also discussed during the meeting. The two sides agreed to continue cooperation in line with common interests.
