Kazakhstan and South Korea have elevated their bilateral relations to the level of a comprehensive, future-oriented strategic partnership.

According to Report, citing Akorda, the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea have exchanged verbal notes on this matter.

In particular, a memorandum has been signed between the Ministries of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of South Korea in the field of urban and infrastructure development.

The transport ministries of the two countries signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of advanced air mobility development.

A memorandum was also concluded between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment of South Korea.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan in South Korea and the Forest Service of the Republic of Korea signed a memorandum on digital forest restoration and measures to combat climate change.

In addition, memoranda of cooperation were signed in the field of culture for the period 2026–2030, as well as in the field of the preservation and management of historical sites.
