Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz and requested the renewal and increase of free treatment quotas for Kyrgyz citizens. During the meeting, the issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of health between the two countries and taking steps to enable Kyrgyz citizens to benefit more from health services in Turkey were discussed.

Ambassador Kazakbaev emphasized the high quality services provided by Turkey in the field of healthcare and said, “Kyrgyz citizens benefit greatly from free treatment opportunities in Turkey. However, the existing quotas are insufficient. Therefore, the renewal and increase of quotas would be a great support for the Kyrgyz people.” During the meeting, the deepening of cooperation between the two countries in the field of health was also discussed. Turkey’s healthcare infrastructure and experience offer significant potential to meet Kyrgyzstan’s needs in this field. In particular, joint projects are planned to be developed in areas such as medical education, training of healthcare personnel and hospital management. Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz welcomed Kyrgyzstan’s requests and said, “As Turkey, we are ready to do our best to meet the needs of the brotherly country Kyrgyzstan in the field of health. We will take the necessary steps to renew and increase the free treatment quotas.”
