Uzbekistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan will sign a document on the preparation of a feasibility study for the Trans-Afghan railway.
This was reported by Report with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
“Today, Kabul will host a visit by high-level delegations led by the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Pakistan to participate in bilateral and trilateral talks. The delegations also include the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Minister of Railways of Pakistan. The main outcome of the visit will be the signing of an agreement on the feasibility study for the Trans-Afghan railway corridor,” the information says.
The document will be signed by the acting Minister of Public Works of Afghanistan, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan and the Minister of Railways of Pakistan.
Prior to this, the parties will hold trilateral political consultations chaired by the Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs, during which they will discuss key issues of political interaction, economic cooperation, and ensuring regional stability.
