On August 28, 2025, a roundtable discussion titled “Uzbekistan Independence Day: From Regional to Global Development Process, Third Renaissance, and Leader MİRZİYOYEV” was held at the Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies (ANKASAM), chaired by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Ankara, H.E. Ilham HAYDAROV, and ANKASAM President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin EROL. The event was attended by diplomats and experts from both sides.

In commemoration of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, the discussion focused on the developments in the country’s internal and external policies, its development process, reforms, the “Uzbekistan Model,” and its relations with the Turkic world. Particular attention was given to the leadership of President Shavkat MİRZİYOYEV, who is considered the architect of the Third Renaissance, and the importance of strengthening regional cooperation.

The event served as a productive platform for discussing Uzbekistan’s regional and global strategic priorities, as well as the deepening ties with the Turkic world, particularly within the framework of the Turkic States Organization.
