Chinese President Xi Jinping, during his meeting in Beijing with Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, emphasized that China-Russia relations are the most stable, mature, and strategically substantial among major power ties in today’s changing world. He stressed that the steady development of these relations serves the fundamental interests of both peoples and provides a source of stability for global peace.
Xi also highlighted that cooperation between the legislative bodies of China and Russia is an integral part of their strategic partnership, calling for greater exchange of governance and legislative experience. He further noted that both sides should deepen strategic mutual trust, safeguard security and development interests, unite Global South nations, and contribute to shaping a more just and rational international order.
