Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with the head of JICA’s Afghanistan office, Sota Tosaka, Trend reports.
According to the information, the interlocutors discussed further strengthening Uzbek-Japanese cooperation, as well as issues of organisational interaction in a regional format. Particular attention was paid to practical measures to establish effective coordination, create conditions for the representative office to operate, and develop institutional partnerships. The Uzbek side expressed its readiness to fully support the initiatives of its Japanese partners and maintain constructive dialogue.
It is reported that opportunities for expanding investment and infrastructure cooperation, supporting the private sector and implementing sustainable development projects were considered separately. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in continuing joint work.
