Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Álvarez. The talks took place in a constructive and open atmosphere, with a focus on deepening bilateral ties, Trend reports.
According to reports, the meeting discussed the intensification of political dialogue and the expansion of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a number of documents, including a Programme of Cooperation between the foreign ministries for 2026–2028, an agreement on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic passports, and a memorandum of understanding on the training of diplomatic personnel.
It is noted that the agreements reached are aimed at strengthening comprehensive cooperation and further developing a mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
