Dr. Doğacan Başaran, Foreign Policy Specialist at the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM), commented on the South Caucasus-based normalization processes and Turkey’s constructive role in this process for A Haber. “Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s attendance at the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is symbolically very important for the normalization processes in the region. After 30 years of isolation from the world due to the occupation policy, if Armenia normalizes its relations with its neighbors, it will establish healthy relations with the international community.”
