Prof. Dr. Mehmet Seyfettin EROL, President of Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM), evaluated the 2nd Central Asia-EU Summit for Yangı O’zbekiston, one of the leading newspaper of Uzbekistan. In his assessment published in Dunyo in Russian, Erol said, “It is necessary to closely follow the development of relations between the Central Asian states and the European Union (EU), especially Uzbekistan’s dynamic interaction with the EU. The meeting of the President of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the President of the European Council Charles Michel on the sidelines of the summit shows that the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy is being consistently implemented in the field of foreign policy.”
