Azerbaijan considers expanding the scope of payment services.
A meeting was held in Azerbaijan between representatives of the country’s Central Bank, whose chairman is Taleh Kazymov, and the head of the SWIFT organization for Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia, Mathieu De Heering. Negotiations between the parties touched upon the implementation of new payment solutions. Trend reports.
During the meeting, representatives of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan talked about the current global situation and the existing prospects for cooperation between the country and the SWIFT organization. The participants of the meeting discussed the development of interaction relations between Azerbaijani financial institutions
In addition, negotiations with Mathieu De Heering touched upon the expansion of the scope of the most modern payment services in Azerbaijan and the implentation of new solutions related to payments.
It is also noted that previously the Azerbaijani Central Bank had already discussed with the SWIFT organization the provision of reliable, sustainable and secure payment solutions within the framework of cooperation with SWIFT.
