China, US need to find right way to get along in new era

Chinese Premier Li Qiang, in a meeting with U.S. business leaders and scholars, emphasized that China-U.S. relations are the most important bilateral ties in the world. He called for mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, win-win cooperation, and shared prosperity. Li highlighted the complementary nature of the two economies, stressing that closer trade and economic cooperation benefits both countries and the global economy. He assured that China will maintain stable growth, expand openness, address foreign businesses’ concerns, and provide new opportunities. Li also underlined the importance of people-to-people connections in fostering long-term relations. U.S. participants praised China’s economic and technological progress, and expressed hope for stronger dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding to build stable and lasting U.S.-China relations.
