Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Irakli Nadareishvili, is attending the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS 2026) in Beijing, where Georgia features its inaugural national pavilion.
Organised by the Enterprise Georgia agency under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the country’s debut participation is supported by the Embassy of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, the Georgian National Tourism Administration, and the National Wine Agency.
At the Georgian pavilion, Deputy Minister Nadareishvili hosted Tang Wenhong, Vice Mayor of Beijing, who sampled Georgian wine on display. During the visit, the Vice Mayor was briefed on Georgia’s investment landscape and business environment.
CIFTIS is a premier international platform for trade in services, bringing together government agencies, international organisations, and corporate leaders.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, visitors to the Georgian national pavilion can explore insights into the country’s economy, business climate, and investment opportunities, as well as its strategic transport and logistics assets along the Middle Corridor, its innovation and tech ecosystem, tourism highlights, 8,000-year wine-making heritage, and export potential across goods and services.
