During his working visit to Davos, Switzerland, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with leaders of several countries, as well as heads of major investment companies and financial institutions.
In particular, according to the press service of the head of the Central Asian republic, Mirziyoyev held talks with the presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
In addition, the Uzbek leader spoke with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lattnik and former British Prime Minister and Chairman of the Institute for Global Change Tony Blair.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries, including within the framework of various international structures.
The President of Uzbekistan also met with representatives of major financial organisations in Davos. In particular, he met with Adebayo Ogunlesi, member of the Board of Directors and Senior Managing Director of Blackrock.
