Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote in The Guardian that Iran is prepared to restore international inspectors’ access to its nuclear facilities and limit uranium enrichment in exchange for the lifting of Western sanctions. He warned that missing this opportunity could have destructive consequences for the region and beyond. Araghchi criticized the UK, France, and Germany for blindly following Washington’s lead, calling it a serious miscalculation that would further diminish Europe’s role in global affairs.
