The Italian Ambassador to Georgia, Massimiliano D’Antuono, stated that cooperation between Italy and Georgia will continue to deepen, speaking at an event marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic.
In his remarks, the ambassador said he was pleased to celebrate the occasion with Georgian friends, emphasizing that the event demonstrates how closely Italy and Georgia are connected and how effectively they can cooperate.
“I am very happy to be here with my Georgian friends to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic. This is a significant occasion as it showcases how Italy successfully rebuilt the country after World War II based on the principles of the rule of law, democracy, and freedom. Today, we celebrate with our Georgian friends, demonstrating the close ties between our two countries and the possibilities for future cooperation. It is a great honor for me to be here today,” the Italian Ambassador said.
