President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation. The two leaders agreed to expand joint work in the political, economic and trade spheres, and emphasized the implementation of new projects in the fields of investment, tourism and cultural cooperation. President Japarov emphasized the need to further strengthen friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain. In turn, King Hamad expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries will be beneficial for both peoples. They also discussed international and regional issues. The two leaders agreed to continue high-level visits and dialogues in the future. This meeting is considered an important step in deepening strategic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain.
