Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of Kyrgyzstan’s National Investment Agency, held a meeting with representatives of Samsung C&T, Trend reports.
According to the agency, the talks focused on attracting investment into the Kyrgyz economy, as well as the implementation of joint high-tech projects. It was noted that the involvement of a company of this calibre creates additional opportunities for modernising the country’s infrastructure and expanding international cooperation.
Ravshanbek Sabirov also presented Kyrgyzstan’s investment opportunities, reforms to improve the business and investment climate, state support measures for investors, as well as strategic projects and initiatives being implemented through public-private partnerships.
For their part, representatives of Samsung C&T expressed an interest in exploring Kyrgyzstan’s potential and participating in PPP projects, highlighting the broad prospects for further cooperation. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue active cooperation.
